Stephanie Wade is Co-Founder and Principal of Argus, an environmental branding studio focused on creating identity and experience systems for multifamily, mixed-use, institutional, hospitality, and public-facing environments.

With more than two decades of experience, Stephanie leads projects that integrate brand strategy, environmental graphics, signage, artwork, and experiential design into cohesive place-based systems. Her work emphasizes clarity, connection, and the relationship between people and the built environment.

Stephanie collaborates closely with developers, architects, interior designers, fabricators, and project teams to create integrated environmental branding programs that support both user experience and implementation realities. Her experience spans projects requiring thoughtful coordination across stakeholder groups, public-facing environments, and multidisciplinary design teams.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has collaborated with organizations and brands including Levi Strauss & Co., Athleta, Converse, AbbVie, BRIDGE Housing, and Union Bank. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Print, HOW, AR100, and the Type Directors Club.

In addition to her professional work, Stephanie has contributed to arts and education organizations throughout the Bay Area, including teaching at California College of the Arts and serving as a board member for her local musical theater organization. Outside the studio, Stephanie can be found walking her dogs, experimenting with new recipes, catching theater shows, and spending time with family and friends — with an audiobook running whenever she gets the chance.
