Designing Identity, Orientation, and Experience for Place

Argus is an environmental branding studio. We create integrated systems of graphics, signage, wayfinding, artwork, and experiential design that help people understand, navigate, and connect with the places they move through every day.

We work with developers, architects, institutions, and community organizations across multifamily, mixed-use, civic, hospitality, and institutional environments. Each project is different — but the underlying belief is the same: the built environment communicates long before a word is spoken, and the details of how a place looks, feels, and functions shape how people experience it.

We don’t treat branding as something applied at the end. It works best when it’s woven into the spatial experience from the beginning — developed alongside architecture, interiors, landscape, and development teams so that every element feels considered and intentional.

A Senior-Led Studio for Complex Projects

Argus is a principal-led studio, which means senior involvement at every stage — strategy, design, coordination, and implementation. We’re not handing projects off.

We understand the realities of complex built environments: competing stakeholder priorities, phased timelines, accessibility requirements, fabrication constraints, and budgets that don’t always cooperate. Our process is built around those realities, not around ideal conditions.

We work closely with architects, fabricators, consultants, and project partners from early concept through final execution — staying responsive as projects evolve, and making sure the vision holds together all the way through.
